Infants

The first two years of life are a period of rapid growth and development, where every moment counts. At Little Gems, our nurturing and supportive environment, along with our unique play-based curriculum, is designed to encourage your baby’s creativity, independence, curiosity, and confidence, fostering a lifelong love of learning.

Exploring Their Surroundings

Our infant rooms are thoughtfully designed to provide a safe, stimulating, and challenging environment for children aged 6 weeks to 2 years. Your baby will have access to a variety of open-ended learning materials that invite purposeful play and exploration, both independently and with others.

Building Connections With Educators

Your child’s educators play a key role in their day, forming strong, nurturing connections with each child. Babies and educators share plenty of cuddles, conversations, and quiet moments, allowing for meaningful bonding and engagement.

Rest & Relaxation

Our infant rooms feature calm sleep areas with individual cots to support your baby’s sleep routine. Our educators are trained in Red Nose Safe Sleep practices to ensure children are cared for in the best possible way, promoting restful sleep in a safe and comforting environment.

Health & Wellbeing

Your little one will enjoy nutritious, delicious meals created and prepared daily by our in-house cooks. Our team is committed to supporting your child’s wellbeing through consistent communication with families, ensuring that each child's needs are met throughout their time in our care.

Families & Community

We believe that families are the most influential teachers in a child’s life, and we value strong partnerships with both families and the wider community. Through open, two-way communication, we can better understand and meet the unique needs of every child.

Young Brains Are Works In Progress

Neuroscience shows that early experiences impact upon brain development more than genetics.

In other words, nurture trumps nature. Young brain development is dependent on a positive environment – good nutrition, health, and nourishing and stimulating parenting..
